Duties Manage the entire closing process by coordinating with loan officers, underwriters, escrow agents, and clients to ensure timely completion of all documentation. Review loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with FNMA standards, Fair Housing laws, and TILA regulations. Prepare and verify closing disclosures, contracts, and escrow instructions with precision using basic math skills and 10-key typing proficiency. Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the closing process to resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly. Ensure all loan processing steps are completed according to federal and state regulations, including credit analysis and underwriting review. Maintain detailed records of all closing documents, logs, and reports while adhering to confidentiality protocols. Assist with post-closing activities such as mortgage servicing setup and final documentation filing. Skills Strong knowledge of FNMA guidelines, underwriting processes, and loan origination procedures. Experience in mortgage servicing, credit analysis, and loan processing within financial services or banking environments. Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations, TILA (Truth in Lending Act), contracts, escrow procedures, and basic math calculations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple closings simultaneously under tight deadlines. Proficiency in 10-key typing, data entry accuracy, and attention to detail. Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams including loan officers, underwriters, escrow officers, and clients.
