Job Description

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking a full-time Commercial Construction Lending Specialist . The candidate must be detail-oriented and provide an exceptional member and builder/developer experience. Commercial construction lending experience is preferred. This position will be located at 4401 Theater Drive, Evansville, IN 47715. If interested, please proceed by clicking apply. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Perform all aspects of the construction draw process during the construction phase, including, Setting up construction parameters specific to each loan Process draw requests when received Communicate with the member and builder/developer throughout the construction process Monitor the use of construction loan funds Order and review updates provided by third party vendors Maintain records of payments to third party vendors Assist lenders with various tasks such as obtaining and reviewing documents from borrowers, ordering third party reports for loan transactions - appraisals, title work, flood, environmental due diligence, etc. Input commercial loan applications into credit system Perform daily loan maintenance, monitor exceptions, and update reports Collect and file financial information from clients Act as the point of contact between lenders and clients as necessary Perform research needed to resolve client problems in a timely manner Provide excellent service when interacting with employees, members or builders/developers Develop an understanding of credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operational procedures and policies Any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management Benefits and Compensation Paid Holidays Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick and Personal Days) Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 401(k) retirement program with matching funds Employer paid Group Term Life Insurance, Short Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Program Liberty FCU is an Equal Opportunity Employer, Minority/Female/Disability/Protected Veteran.
