Responsibilities The Indirect Auto Sales Support role assists Old National's Indirect Auto Sales team with a wide range of non-sales activities including dealer communication, application and document intake, loan file preparation, and coordination with underwriting and funding. This role involves frequent interaction with internal departments (underwriting, loan operations, funding, compliance) and external partners including auto dealers and third-party service providers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant indirect auto loan processing. Key Accountabilities Assisting Indirect Auto Sales Reps with new indirect auto loan applications, ensuring all aspects of the application and supporting documentation are complete, accurate, and compliant Receiving, reviewing, and compiling dealer-submitted loan documents, noting discrepancies, red flags, or missing information and following up as needed Ensuring accurate loan data entry into loan origination systems and supporting proper credit decision documentation Acting as a liaison between dealers, underwriting, funding, and sales officers to support efficient loan progression and issue resolution Assisting with dealer communications including phone calls, emails, rate or process questions, and basic troubleshooting Tracking loan pipeline activity and monitoring status to support service-level expectations and funding timelines Supporting dealer onboarding and maintenance activities, including documentation, system setup, and process education Assisting with post-underwriting follow-up, funding preparation, and final documentation review Maintaining accurate records and ensuring loan files meet internal policies, audit standards, and regulatory requirements Qualifications and Education Requirements Minimum of 1 year of prior administrative or financial services support experience; prior consumer lending or indirect auto lending experience preferred High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel Prior experience with loan origination systems or lending-related software preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer- and dealer-focused mindset Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
