Full Job Description Overview:
Join Our Team as a Mortgage File Coordinator! Are you detail‑oriented, organized, and energized by supporting a fast‑paced lending environment? As a Mortgage File Coordinator , you'll play a key role in opening new first mortgage files and managing the File Support Inbox, ensuring a smooth and efficient loan process from the very beginning. You'll work closely with processing, closing, and sales teams to order critical services and keep files moving forward—making a direct impact on both internal teams and our members. This role is a great opportunity to build your expertise in mortgage operations while being part of a friendly, collaborative team that values service and accuracy.Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
Open new mortgage files, including reviewing received documentation and ordering appraisals, title work, flood certifications, IRS verifications, and other required services. Provide support to processing, closing, and sales teams by ordering and coordinating services throughout the loan process, such as Homeowners Insurance and Verifications of Employment. Track and follow up on all orders placed, communicating timelines and completeness to processing, closing, and sales teams. Deliver excellent member service by ensuring work is completed in accordance with Credit Union guidelines and responding promptly to member and team needs.Qualifications:
