First Federal Savings Bank has a great opportunity for a Commercial Loan Processor located in Huntington, IN!
Job Summary:
Works closely with loan officers in order to produce commercial loan documents for each approved loan, renewal or modification. Ensures loan documents produced are accurate and within policy in an allotted time frame. Inputs and maintains commercial loans in the bank's core operating system. Maintain commercial files including insurance, recorded documents, UCC's and filing, as well as checking loan files for completeness and tearing down paid loan files. Back up on certain Treasury Management items. Department(s):

Order and track title work, floods, UCC searches, etc. Prepare commercial loan documents in an accurate and timely fashion, including, but not limited to, entity documents, indebtedness documents, collateral documents, guarantor documents, and closing documents. Compile and distribute weekly/monthly department and other reports. Provide information to and answer questions for commercial customers. Be able to discuss FFSB's checking accounts, internet banking, ACH services, and remote deposit services. Be a source of knowledge to customers and a referral source for merchant services. Process payments and transfer requests, wire requests, change of address, and preauthorized payment authorizations from customers. Input wires initiated through the commercial department team. Receive and process wires sent for loan payoffs. Process sold and purchased Participation payments. Search and File UCCs, Continuations and County Level Recorded filings. Record documents, Mortgages, Assignment of Rents, etc. Close loans with commercial customers in the absence of the Lender. Input, disburse and maintain commercial loans in the operating system (DNA). Review loans closed by other processors to ensure the closing documents are complete and the system is set up correctly based on the note and file (DNA). Work with SBA providers to assist our customers in obtaining/servicing SBA loans. Review SBA loan documentation prior to closing. Document and manage Construction Loans through the funding process as needed (manage construction draw process). Review daily/weekly/monthly reports produced by DDS/Nautilus and AccuSystems. Quote and process loan payoffs. Tear down paid loan files and prepare and record released documents. Track and file, as needed, for the Commercial Loan Department via AccuSystems. Maintains tracking spreadsheets with insurance, recorded documents, released collateral, vehicle titles, etc. Maintains loan document exception log and follow up with customers on items needed to complete files. Ensure that all new loans, modifications, and other related documentation is accurate, tracked, and in compliance with regulatory and bank processes. Works with title companies, credit department and lenders to provide loan payoff statements. Utilize all software and other systems necessary to manage the commercial loan portfolio efficiently and effectively. Effectively adhere to BSA policies and procedures. Scan new and existing loan files into AccuSystems, First Federal's imagining system. Other duties as needed or assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Attributes Bachelor's degree or prior lending experience preferred Experience with mortgage or commercial loans preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Laser Pro, DNA, Word, Excel, and other bank software Impeccable ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity Attention to detail and accuracy required Effective follow-up skills and ability to meet deadlines without prompting
