Location:
Norwood MA Position Overview Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payment Processor to join a collaborative team of approximately 30 professionals. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in banking, teller operations, payment processing, cash application, accounts receivable, or other transaction-focused environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting departmental operations while handling sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Process incoming customer payments and accurately apply transactions to customer accounts. Review payment information for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal procedures. Perform data entry and update account information within company systems. Maintain accurate records while handling confidential financial information. Assist with routine reporting and spreadsheet updates using Microsoft Excel. Support the team with additional administrative and payment-related tasks as needed. Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy. Qualifications Previous experience in banking, teller services, payment processing, cash application, accounts receivable, or a similar transactional role preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Basic Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to navigate and update spreadsheets. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information. Reliable, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
