Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as a Consumer & Commercial Loan Processing Associate. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing, reviewing, and verifying loan documentation to ensure accurate and timely closings, as well as coordinating the disbursement of loan proceeds. This position offers the opportunity to work across both consumer and commercial lending while contributing to a high-quality customer experience. Key Responsibilities This role may include, but is not limited to: Prepare and distribute loan closing document packages Compile and manage batch sheets Perform loan calculations, particularly for commercial loans Prepare Change in Terms and Modification Agreements Order and review title commitments, updates, and mortgage information sheets (MIS) Coordinate and review appraisals and evaluations Order and review flood certifications; determine required flood insurance when applicable Review property and flood insurance binders for accuracy and compliance Obtain and verify employment information Order corporate name verifications and certificates of good standing Complete UCC searches and related documentation Process Synapsys events as needed Review commercial loan files, including corporate borrowing and operating agreements Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HMDA, TILA/RESPA, and ATR/QM Accurately scan, index, and upload documents into internal systems Support additional loan processing and administrative tasks as assigned Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED Previous banking or loan processing experience preferred Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proven problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities
