SUMMARY & PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Servicing Specialist is responsible for preparing and processing payments, along with processing escrow disbursements. This individual will work directly with customers, including light collections.

PRIMARY POSITION-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

 Payment processing;  Review all new loan set-up and ongoing monitoring and controls of sub-servicer's loan administration activities;  Confirm timely set-up of loans by sub-servicer and perform quality assurance on new loans boarded to the system;  Review reports and work closely with sub-servicer regarding delinquent loans to confirm that adequate efforts have been made to contact borrowers with regards to agency guidelines;  Monitor and analyze all federal, state, agency, municipal and other regulatory requirements for mortgage servicing to identify new requirements that impact the mortgage loan and servicing portfolio;  Process timely escrow disbursement;  Manage insurance documentation handling;  Administer goodbye letters and statement processing;  Complete other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

 High School Diploma or equivalent  Mortgage servicing experience a plus;  Must have exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills;  Must be dependable with meeting deadlines and managing time;  Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
