Closing Processor Brainerd, MN | Full-Time Atlas Abstract & Title, Inc. We are a fast-paced title and escrow company focused on delivering exceptional service while building strong relationships with our clients, lenders, agents, and community partners. We are looking for someone who thrives in organized chaos, communicates exceptionally well, and takes pride in keeping transactions moving forward. Position Summary The Closing Processor is responsible for managing file coordination, closing preparation, and backend transaction support throughout the closing process. This position works closely with closers, real estate agents, lenders, buyers, sellers, and office staff to ensure files progress efficiently from opening through closing. This is a deadline-driven position that requires phenomenal written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and the capability to manage a large volume of moving pieces simultaneously. The right candidate is proactive, dependable, calm under pressure, and able to keep multiple transactions on track without sacrificing accuracy or customer service.
Responsibilities:
File Coordination & Closing Support Monitor file progress and track outstanding items needed for closing Follow up with agents, lenders, clients, and third parties regarding missing documentation and requirements Assist with file organization, preparation, and overall transaction management Provide ongoing backend support to closers throughout the transaction process Assist with balancing files and preparing final closing figures when needed Cross-train in closing procedures to provide backup closing support when necessary Title Work & Order Management Order and manage required file documentation, including: Assessment Searches Payoff Statements Trust, LLC, Divorce, and Death Documentation DCL Documentation (when applicable) Scheduling & Client Coordination Schedule buyer and seller signing appointments Coordinate timelines with agents, lenders, and clients Ensure files are complete and ready prior to closing appointments Transaction Communication Draft and send welcome letters and transaction updates Confirm and track: Listing and Selling Agent commissions Earnest Money deposits Outstanding title clearance items and closing requirements Maintain consistent communication with all parties involved in the transaction Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in title, escrow, mortgage, banking, real estate, legal, or administrative work is preferred, but not required for the right candidate We are looking for someone who: Takes ownership and follows through Communicates clearly and confidently Enjoys helping clients and supporting a team Can adapt quickly when priorities shift Thrives in a deadline-driven environment Wants to be part of a collaborative, hardworking office culture Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience PTO and paid holidays Health insurance opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and advancement If you enjoy fast-paced work, problem-solving, and being a critical part of helping transactions come together successfully, we'd love to hear from you.
