Job Description

North Shore Bank is a locally owned and operated community bank that has proudly been serving the Twin Ports area with integrity for over 100 years. We specialize in providing personalized financial solutions and fostering long-term relationships with our customers. North Shore Bank is seeking a Post Closing Specialist to join our Mortgage team! This position will monitor incoming closed loan files to assure timely new loan setup.
What You Will Do:
Daily account reconciliation duties on newly closed and sold loans Daily monitoring of new closed loan files and completion of new loan setup Reviews files, packages and deliveries to investors in a timely manner Completes all investor suspense or follow up to ensure timely purchase by the investor. This may include communication with outside contacts such as settlement agent, borrower, seller or other parties New loan setup onboarding and QC Monitor receipt and delivery on all final documents Fulfill investor and agency QC requests and response Assists with backup customer service calls Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum education of a high school diploma or GED One to three years similar or related experience in Mortgage, title insurance, banking or financial experience preferred, but not required Strong computer skills, ability to work with several vendor systems and data entry Basic accounting or reconciliation knowledge Excellent multitasking, communication and time management skills Ability to work in a team environment
