Responsibilities and Daily Job Duties Primary Function:
Process 1st and 2nd mortgage loans and take on various mortgage closing and post-closing functions. This is a detail-oriented position that also requires a strong sense of urgency, a commitment to accuracy and the ability to work collaboratively with our origination team, various departments within the Credit Union, and external partners. Primary Responsibilities Process 1st and 2nd mortgage loans from application through closing. This includes direct member interaction both in person, through technology and on the phone and requires timely communication with all impacted parties in order to ensure closing and service level expectations are met. Handle mortgage closing and post-closing functions, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate Efficiently work through que of mortgage applications daily to ensure timely follow-up Communicate and collaborate effectively with the origination team, other departments within the Credit Union, and external vendors and partners Maintain a strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the role Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and Credit Union policies and procedures Other duties as assigned

Requirements Qualifications One to two years of experience in processing and/or closing conventional mortgage loans Experience with secondary market underwriting guidelines Working knowledge of required compliance regulations Experience with FHLB funding and servicing preferred Education High school diploma or equivalent Skills Must have excellent oral and written communication skills Must have strong knowledge of computer and software applications Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a sense or urgency Ability to problem solve in an environment that may have unique circumstances for each borrower Ability to interact and assist at all levels of employees/management Flexibility and desire to learn and train on varied tasks Rewards This position is full time and will be eligible for benefits, and an annual incentive plan.
