• Job Summary
• We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Loan Booking & Collateral Specialist to support loan operations and collateral management.

This role is responsible for accurately booking loans into the bank's system of record, ensuring collateral perfection, and maintaining the integrity of collateral documentation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and capable of working cross-functionally with internal partners, legal teams, and vendors to deliver high-quality service.

• Key Responsibilities
• Book loans accurately and timely into the bank's system of record Ensure proper setup and perfection of bank collateral, including initial lien perfection Maintain control of collateral through: File setup and standardization Exception tracking and resolution Monitor and ensure data accuracy for all loan-related inputs and updates Conduct research and independently analyze loan documentation Collaborate confidently with line partners to discuss loan structures and issues Interface with vendors, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective execution Track, manage, and resolve exceptions related to booking and collateral processes Maintain acceptable error rates across all measurable categories Support team operations, including: Assisting Market Leader with team meetings Participating in training sessions Conducting quality reviews as needed •Required Skills•Experience in consumer and/or commercial loan operations Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and time constraints.

High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent work experience.

• Desired Skills
• Knowledge of GWIM Credit Policy and Procedures Familiarity with systems/tools such as: GFS, LoanIQ, EDR, Tradeline, QAPR database etc.
