This position plays a key role in supporting debit and credit card operations, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliation, and compliance related to card activity. The Card Coordinator also supports wire processing and other accounting functions as assigned. Essential Responsibilities and Duties Serve as a resource to Member Service Representatives for debit and credit card-related inquiries. Order debit and credit cards and review daily card order and file transmission reports for accuracy. Research, troubleshoot, and resolve card issues, including declined transactions and activation problems. Process card disputes, including verifying chargeback rights and researching rejected disputes in accordance with applicable regulations. Maintain, audit, and update chargeback logs daily as debit/credit adjustments occur. Review daily card settlement reports and post necessary adjustments. Monitor fraud alerts and take appropriate, timely action to protect member accounts. Stay current on card network rules, regulations, and chargeback/arbitration requirements. Prepare monthly charge-off reports related to card dispute losses. Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers in accordance with policy and procedures. Reconcile uncashed checks on a monthly basis. Serve as backup for ACH processing and cash letter processing. Provide support for additional accounting and operational duties as needed. Qualifications & Requirements 1 - 2 years of card coordinator or card processing experience required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial operations. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams. Proven problem-solving and analytical skills. Dependable, professional, and positive team-oriented attitude. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while performing clerical and computer-based work. Frequent use of a computer keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment. Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach as needed within the office environment. Ability to lift and carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to approximately 15 pounds. Vision and hearing sufficient to perform essential job functions, including reviewing documentation and communicating with staff and members.
