Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the commercial lending portfolio through financial analysis, loan documentation review, portfolio monitoring, and client relationship support. Ensures loan accuracy, compliance, and timely processing while coordinating closings, managing collateral and documentation requirements, and identifying potential credit risks. Serves as a liaison between clients, lenders, attorneys, vendors, and internal departments to deliver efficient, professional service and support portfolio performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Review origination due diligence and loan documentation to ensure accuracy and in accordance with loan approval requirementsFacilitate loan closings in conjunction with and on behalf of RMAssist with construction loan administration as requiredManage asset-based lending requirementsProactively identify and escalate declining financial performance/negative indicators within the loan portfolio on a timely basisMonitor loan management tracking reports and ensure timely action and escalation as warrantedEnsure all required documentation is in file for all loansInitiate and/or complete loan modificationsManage and maintain collateral requirementsBuild and maintain positive working relationships with third party vendors and attorneysAct as a liaison with loan processing and servicing departments, loan review and audit as requiredJointly call on clients to stay apprised of business activity/performance and serve as an additional contact pointFacilitate client service requestsPerform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Customer and Personal Service Knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional service to internal and external customers. .English Language Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Communication Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and listening skills.

Computer Skills Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel and all other software that support the commercial lending function. .Clerical Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such managing files and records and other office procedures and terminology.

Accounting Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.

Banking-- Knowledge of financial industry and bank dynamics, and knowledge of banks products and services, and bank security and transaction policies.

Critical Thinking Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Monitoring Monitoring/assessing performance of yourself to make improvements or take corrective action.

Law and Government Knowledge of banking laws and regulations as they apply to the lending area.

Bank Secrecy Act In the performance of all the respective tasks and duties, employee will maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulations and all other regulatory, security and bank policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in business, finance or accounting.2-4 years of commercial lending, commercial loan review and/or credit administration/underwriting.
PHYSICAL/WORK CONDITIONS
In the performance of respective tasks and duties, the employee is expected to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
