Duties Assist loan officers with the preparation and organization of loan documentation, including contracts and disclosures Support the loan origination process by gathering necessary borrower information and verifying financial data Conduct credit analysis to evaluate borrower creditworthiness in accordance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines Coordinate with underwriting teams to facilitate smooth loan approvals and ensure compliance with mortgage servicing standards Manage loan processing tasks such as escrow setup, TILA disclosures, and maintaining accurate records using 10-key typing and basic math skills Review and interpret contracts, bank statements, and other financial documents to support loan decisions Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations and other relevant federal and state laws throughout all procedures Requirements Prior experience as a Loan Officer Assistant or in a related financial services role is highly preferred Knowledge of FNMA guidelines, underwriting processes, and mortgage servicing procedures Familiarity with loan origination systems, credit analysis, and loan processing techniques Understanding of TILA regulations, escrow procedures, and Fair Housing laws Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently Proficiency in basic math, 10-key typing, and contract review processes Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients Ability to maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive financial information This position offers a rewarding environment where your skills directly contribute to helping individuals secure their financial futures.
