The ideal candidate brings experience in mortgage servicing or a default firm environment and demonstrates a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and customer service excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing and dispositioning of loans that have transitioned to a default status, working collaboratively across borrower, legal, and internal stakeholder channels.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage mortgage accounts that have reached due and payable status, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, investor guidelines, and company policies. Coordinate with borrowers, legal teams, and internal departments to resolve account discrepancies efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Ensure weekly completion of due and past-due tasks, thus providing regular status updates to leadership. Review property inspections daily in accordance with established policy and procedure. Provide ongoing training and mentorship to Due & Payable new staff members.Education:
High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.Experience:
2 years of specialized experience in mortgage default preferred. 2 years of experience in compliance review preferred.Skills & Competencies:
Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking ability, with a demonstrated capacity to analyze complex issues and recommend effective solutions. Strong written and oral communication skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and impeccable punctuality and attendance.Additional Requirements:
This is an on-site position located in Tulsa, OK. All work is performed in a secure Federal Government facility. Mandatory successful completion of a detailed federal background check, including criminal history, credit review, and fingerprinting.Similar remote jobs
