Full Job Description Description:
Who We Are At UMortgage, we operate with a service-first, relationship-driven approach. We specialize in home purchases and focus heavily on consumer education, real estate agent relationships, and delivering a personalized borrower experience. #ExperienceIsEverything The Role UMortgage is hiring a Bilingual Senior Loan Processor to support a high-performing, purchase-focused pipeline. This role is ideal for an experienced processor who can confidently manage a full pipeline across multiple loan products, communicate clearly with English and Spanish-speaking borrowers, and drive files from submission through closing with urgency, accuracy, and ownership. This is not a hand-holding role. We are looking for someone who understands how to operate in a broker or non-delegated correspondent environment, work across multiple wholesale lenders, manage investor overlays, identify issues early, and keep files moving without needing constant direction. The right person for this role is comfortable supporting a diverse client base and maintaining strong communication standards with borrowers, Loan Originators, real estate agents, title partners, underwriters, and internal team members. What You'll Do Manage a full pipeline of purchase and refinance loans from submission through closing. Process a variety of loan types, including FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, jumbo, and non-QM loans. Communicate with borrowers in both English and Spanish throughout the loan process. Work directly with multiple wholesale lenders and lender portals. Review approvals, identify conditions, and clear outstanding items quickly and accurately. Communicate proactively with Loan Originators, underwriters, Realtors, borrowers, and title/escrow partners. Support borrowers with clear, service-first communication and a strong sense of urgency. Track contingency dates, closing dates, rate lock expirations, and other key file milestones. Ensure files are compliant, complete, and ready before submission. Maintain strong follow-up discipline to keep files moving toward clear to close. Meet or exceed SLA expectations for file touches, turn times, and communication. Maintain accurate loan status updates, notes, and documentation in Arive. Read and understand lender conditions, investor overlays, and file-specific requirements. Escalate issues appropriately while also bringing solutions and next steps.
Requirements:
What You Must Have 3+ years of mortgage processing experience. Fluency in English and Spanish. Minimum 2+ years working in a mortgage broker or non-delegated correspondent environment preferred. Experience submitting loans directly to wholesale lenders. Strong hands-on experience processing purchase transactions. Working knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, jumbo, and non-QM loans. Strong understanding of TRID and mortgage compliance requirements. Ability to manage 25+ active loans with urgency and organization. Experience working with multiple lender portals and investor overlays. Strong follow-up discipline and clean documentation habits. Ability to communicate clearly, calmly, and professionally with borrowers, agents, LOs, title, and underwriting. Confidence owning files from submission through closing without constant direction. Preferred Experience Experience using Arive. Experience working with lenders such as UWM, eLend, Windsor, Kind Lending, The Loan Store, Plaza, NewRez, or similar wholesale lenders. Experience supporting a purchase-heavy pipeline. Experience working in a high-volume, service-focused mortgage environment. Strong comfort supporting Spanish-speaking borrowers through the full loan process. What Success Looks Like Success in this role means files are moving, borrowers and partners know where things stand, conditions are cleared quickly, documentation is clean, and closing dates are protected. You are not waiting to be chased for updates. You are already ahead of the file, communicating clearly, and owning the outcome. The best person for this role takes pride in creating clarity, solving problems early, and delivering an experience that makes Loan Originators, borrowers, and referral partners feel confident throughout the process. Physical Requirements This is a primarily sedentary role requiring extended computer use, clear communication, and detailed document review. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. UMortgage is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
