Loan Clerk

CACL Federal Credit Union is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Loan Department as a Loan Clerk! This position plays an important role in supporting both our members and our lending team through the loan process. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, team-focused, and enjoys helping people in a fast-paced environment. One of the best parts about this opportunity? What You'll Do:

Assist members in person, over the phone, and through email Help members complete loan applications and gather required documentation Support Loan Officers and Loan Processors throughout the lending process Disburse approved loans and verify required documentation Prepare loan documents and maintain accurate records Process title work, liens, and related documentation Prepare member correspondence including thank-you and denial letters Assist with mortgage funding and loan file maintenance Work closely with team members to ensure accuracy and quality within loan files Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations including BSA and OFAC Provide general support to the Loan Department as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required Previous financial institution experience is helpful, but not required Why Join CACL?
