Employee will work full time remote outside of a WesBanco location (may occasionally attend in person meetings, although primary functions of the role are performed remotely). Market Mid-Atlantic Work Hours per Week 40 Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associates degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience in banking, preferably in loan or operations required.
Job Description SUMMARY:
Responsible to work with and between business lines to ensure timely receipt of recorded collateral documents. Advises business line personnel of perfected collateral not received. Assists in driving effective use of technology and automation. Collaborates with peers and leaders and makes recommendations for changes to gain efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborates and works with and between business lines to clear missing perfected collateral documents in a timely manner. Reports missing collateral to front business lines and management. Responsible for submitting Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings for recording to third party vendor, monitoring for receipt and updating the core banking system with recordation details Monitors and works with third party vendors for UCC continuations and renewals. Possess a thorough understanding of loan documentation to ensure collateral documentation is correct and understand the differences in title commitments, title policies and opinions of title. Understands GAP on vehicle loans and assists with refunds and cancellations. Assists with training and guidance to team members with respect to understanding, processing and managing the workload. Assists in the development and implementation of operational plans, policies, procedures, and goals that further scalability, automation and efficiency. Collaborates with peers and leaders and makes recommendations for changes to gain efficiency. Fosters strong relationships with leader and peers to ensure collaboration and effective communication within the team. Assists with the process flow documentation for assigned systems and areas of responsibility and pursues areas of improvement. Assists in maintaining the repository of procedures, processes, job aids and other critical information for functional areas. Assists in driving the effective use of technology within functional areas. Performs work within customer service level expectations and key vendor processing timelines. Performs daily work as defined accurately. Makes recommendations to leadership about possible changes to processing that will enhance the process.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The wage range for the Collateral Support Specialist position is $21
  • 24 hourly.
The position includes 17 days of PTO (Paid Time Off) and 5 days of STD (Short Term Disability) and 11 annual paid holidays, and 1 float holiday.
