Loan Documentation Research and Reviewer Spectraforce Technologies United States, Maine, Portland May 14, 2026
Job Title:
Loan Documentation Research and Reviewer Location:
Fully Remote (EST hours)
Duration:
1 months
Assignment Shift/Hours:
40hours/week, M to F, 8am to 5pm
OT:
Possible depending on business needs
Summary:
Client need support with high volumes (750,000+ documents to be reviewed). Role is clerical in nature.
Team Size/Culture:
independent work.
Training Period:
technical navigation training will be provided.
Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Reviewing backlog of documents, manually researching/investigating each file to reconcile accounts.
Preferred/Ideal Candidate Background:
Previous research experience or other relevant experience in a similar clerical role would be an asset. Strong reading comprehension & investigative skills.
Must-Have Hard Skills:
Previous research experience: 1+ years.
Moderate Excel Skills:
basic formulas.
Technical Proficiency:
Ability to navigate shared drives (sourcing, retitling, and saving existing documents within a subfolder), create word documents with bullets and minimal formatting.
Education:
Minimum high school diploma and open to any graduate.
Nice-To-Have:
Familiarity with mortgage documentation, i.e. FHA, FNMA, AAL, alternative to foreclosure letters. Working knowledge of FIS, Sageant/Loanserve/Mortgage Serv, CACS/CG. Default Management; knowledge of Loss Mitigation.
Soft Skills:
Attention to detail. Investigative skills. Self-directed. Ability to learn by reading a basic job aid and requiring minimal instruction after training period.
