  • Columbus, OH (4 days onsite) 6-month Contract to hire (W2), Weekly Pay (40 hours/week) Calculated Hire is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor for our Financial Services client.
This role will support the end-to-end processing of residential mortgage loans and partner closely with Underwriters, Mortgage Loan Officers, and Business Banking teams to ensure timely and accurate loan progression. In this role, you will: Manage residential mortgage loan files from application through closing Collect, review, and validate borrower documentation including income, assets, credit, and collateral information Ensure loan files meet internal, investor, and regulatory requirements prior to underwriting submission Partner closely with Mortgage Loan Officers, Underwriters, and Business Banking teams throughout the loan lifecycle Communicate with borrowers and third parties to obtain outstanding documentation and resolve file conditions Track and manage pipeline deadlines to ensure timely loan progression and closing timelines Utilize Encompass for loan file management, status updates, and documentation review Review loan applications for completeness, accuracy, and guideline alignment Support underwriting and closing teams by clearing conditions and resolving documentation gaps Maintain strong attention to detail while working within a high-volume production environment
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years of mortgage loan processing experience Experience processing a variety of residential mortgage loan products Hands-on experience using Encompass Strong understanding of mortgage documentation, compliance requirements, and loan workflow processes Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume pipeline effectively
