In this vital role, you will coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met efficiently. Your attention to detail and knowledge of mortgage regulations will help facilitate smooth loan approvals, supporting clients in achieving their homeownership goals. This position offers an energetic environment where your skills directly impact our clients' financial journeys and our company's success. Duties Review and verify all loan documentation, including income, employment, credit reports, and asset information to ensure completeness and accuracy Communicate with borrowers, real estate agents, and lenders to gather missing information or clarify details promptly Prepare and submit loan packages for underwriting approval, ensuring adherence to FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and other investor requirements Conduct credit analysis and assess borrower eligibility based on financial data and regulatory standards such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and Fair Housing regulations Coordinate with escrow companies, title agencies, and mortgage servicing departments to facilitate closing processes Maintain detailed records of loan processing activities, including contracts, disclosures, and compliance documentation Stay updated on mortgage industry changes, including underwriting standards and banking regulations, to ensure ongoing compliance Skills Strong understanding of FNMA guidelines, underwriting processes, and loan origination procedures Experience in mortgage servicing, credit analysis, and loan processing within the financial services sector Knowledge of TILA regulations, contracts law, escrow procedures, and Fair Housing laws Proficiency in basic math skills including 10-key typing for data entry and calculations related to loan figures Ability to interpret financial documents accurately and perform precise credit assessments Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to manage multiple files efficiently Familiarity with banking systems and mortgage software platforms; strong communication skills for effective collaboration Join us in empowering homebuyers through meticulous loan processing that combines industry expertise with a passion for service.
