Loan Officer Assistant Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc - 3.6 Providence, RI Job Details 6 hours ago Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic team as a Loan Officer Assistant and become a vital part of the mortgage lending process! In this role, you will support loan officers by managing essential administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and facilitating smooth loan transactions. Your proactive approach will help streamline operations, enhance client experiences, and uphold the highest standards of financial services. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in mortgage lending while contributing to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Due to the diverse needs of our clientele, we are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) professional who can confidently communicate with and support our Spanish-speaking clients. Responsibilities Assist loan officers with loan origination processes, including gathering client information and preparing documentation Conduct preliminary credit analysis and review borrower financial data to support underwriting decisions Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and other federal or state requirements Support loan processing activities by verifying documents, updating loan files, and coordinating with escrow and mortgage servicing teams Help facilitate communication between clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure timely loan approvals Maintain accurate records of contracts, disclosures, and other legal documents related to loans Qualifications Previous experience as a Loan Officer Assistant or in a related financial services role is preferred Must be fluent in Spanish Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting procedures, and loan origination processes Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in document review and data entry Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members Must be able to work full-time on site Embark on a rewarding career path where your dedication supports homeownership dreams!
