Real Estate Loan Processor Area Federal Credit Union Aberdeen, SD Posted/Updated:
Today Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Loan Processor to join our dynamic credit union team. In this vital role, you will manage the end-to-end processing of mortgage loan applications, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant. Answer member phone inquiries on loan balances, payoffs, applications and schedule appointments for RE Loan officers. Conduct loan interviews with members when necessary. Follow up with members to obtain any required documentation. Process loan application to validate all employment, deposit accounts, and liabilities provided. Order Credit Report, appraisal, Title, Survey, Flood, etc. as needed for file. Disburse checks, transfers and general ledger postings on approved loans. Review all disbursed loan files by checking all necessary paperwork, signatures, dates, and computer information such as interest rates, loan type, collateral, payment, etc. Submit files to investors for purchase after disbursed and process payoffs when purchased. Image loan files by properly scanning and documenting loan within the paperless system. Process escrow disbursements and annual escrow analysis. Maintain real estate lending department files. Perform other functions as required or assigned by the supervisor.
