First PREMIER Bank About the Role Ensure mortgage loans move efficiently through two of the following processes (based on business need): processing, closing, and post-closing. Responsibilities include verifying and preparing loan files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinating closing, and funding activities. Job Duties and Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Verify all information from the initial loan application with a third-party, collect relevant data, and update the loan origination system. Actively listening, communicate clearly, respectfully, and consistently with both internal and external customers. Prepare the closing disclosure, work with the title company to balance the final numbers and verify the funding amount. Work with internal teams to resolve outstanding conditions or deficiencies. Ensure all signed documents are received and properly executed. Review and process investor loan purchase. Maintain customer files with regulatory requirements and company policies. Identify and address any issues or discrepancies that arise during the processing of the loan application. Skills and Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication. Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous high priority projects and tasks while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality. Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, customers, investors, and management. Ability to take initiative and resolve issues in a timely manner. Ability to work independently, handle stress, exercise self-control, adhere to company policies, and procedures. Ability to build rapport and trust quickly with various stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 1 years of experience in mortgage required. A strong knowledge of mortgage lending processes and regulatory requirements required.
