Job Description
Loan Officer Assistant Join our team as a Loan Officer Assistant and help support the mortgage process from application to closing. This role works closely with Loan Officers to ensure loans are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with industry guidelines. Responsibilities Assist Loan Officers with collecting borrower information and loan documents Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness Organize and submit files for processing and underwriting Verify income, assets, credit, and other borrower documentation Help prepare disclosures and maintain compliance with lending regulations Communicate with borrowers, agents, and internal teams throughout the loan process Maintain organized loan files and update loan status as needed Support escrow calculations and other basic mortgage-related tasks Qualifications Mortgage or financial services experience preferred Knowledge of FNMA guidelines, underwriting, and loan processing Familiarity with loan origination systems and mortgage workflows Understanding of Fair Housing and TILA regulations Strong organizational and communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple files Basic math and 10-key skills required Customer service focused with a team-oriented mindset
