Bilingual Loan Processor Apex Bank | Knoxville, TN CASA Initiative — Estamos Agrandando La Casa / We Are Expanding the House About CASA Apex CASA is Apex Bank's dedicated mortgage lending initiative serving the Hispanic and immigrant community across Tennessee. We are expanding our Knoxville team and looking for a sharp, organized, and bilingual professional to support our loan officers and ensure a seamless experience for our customers from application through closing. We invest in our people. The Role As a CASA Loan Processor, you are the operational backbone of the lending process. You will work directly alongside our mortgage loan officers to manage documentation, coordinate with third parties, and keep every file moving accurately and on time. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to communicate clearly — with customers, loan officers, and internal teams — entirely in Spanish and English. What You Will Do Assist loan officers in processing mortgage applications from submission through closing. Collect, verify, and track required documentation from applicants. Order appraisals, title work, flood certifications, verifications of employment, and all related third-party services in a timely manner. Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant loan files throughout the process. Communicate proactively with customers, loan officers, and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient process. Identify and resolve file deficiencies quickly and accurately. Maintain and update internal systems, databases, and loan records. What We Are Looking For Fluency in Spanish and English — written and spoken — is required. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously. A strong sense of urgency — this team moves fast and the customers we serve depend on it. 1-3 years of experience in mortgage processing, retail banking, or loan servicing preferred. Proficiency with standard office software; experience with loan origination systems a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Compensation Competitive base salary, plus a quarterly bonus tied to loan quality metrics.
