The specialist evaluates all documents, programs, and verifications for validity prior to funding the loan. This team member interfaces with and provides superior customer service to internal and external customers (e.g., credit center personnel, automobile dealers, loan applicants). What You'll Do Communicate loan funding statuses to originators, sales, titles, and leadership. Manage relationships with originators. Maintain accurate records of all loan funding activities. Accountable for managing the Auto Loan origination process from application review through funding. Ensure adherence to internal policy and external regulations. Support respectful experiences for applicants and dealers throughout the origination and funding process. Identifies processes and control improvements; communicates findings to the respected manager. Assist with questions, calls, emails, and faxes, and serve as an overall go-to person for funding analysts. Perform other assigned projects and tasks. What You Need 1-3 years of Auto Originations/Funding experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong typing, data entry, and computer navigation skills with a high level of accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external partners. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to respond promptly and professionally to internal and external requests. Preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Previous experience in indirect auto lending or subprime auto finance preferred. Physical Requirements Frequent but minimal physical effort, such as sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional moving and lifting of equipment and furniture are required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
