- Responsibilities for a Foreclosure Default Specialist include but are not limited to:
- + Manage a high-volume pipeline of foreclosure and default mortgage loans from referral through resolution, sale, reinstatement, or dismissal.
+ Monitor foreclosure timelines, bankruptcy holds, attorney actions, and state-specific compliance requirements to ensure timely processing. + Review title reports, liens, legal descriptions, and foreclosure documentation for accuracy and identify title defects or curative issues. + Coordinate with foreclosure attorneys, trustees, title companies, vendors, and internal servicing departments to resolve escalations and maintain compliance with investor and regulatory guidelines.
- Candidates for Foreclosure Default Specialist must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- + 2+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, foreclosure and default servicing + Knowledge of CFPB regulations, FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, and FHLMC foreclosure and servicing guidelines.
+ Experience reviewing title reports, bankruptcy documentation, foreclosure timelines, and lien-related issues. + Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
