POSITION PURPOSE
The Compliance HMDA/Fair Lending QC Specialist is responsible for the accuracy of the data entry to the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) LAR. Responsible for the regulatory review of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) files to ensure that all proper documentation is included to meet the requirements for reporting on the
HMDA LAR. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Perform reviews of HMDA data within the HMDA software system to source documents. Enter missing or incorrect data into the HMDA software system. Identify, correct and track HMDA errors as well as report any potential concerns about non-compliance with regulatory requirements. Establish and maintain effective communication with lending associates for corrections or completion of required loan file documentation. Maintain a good working knowledge of the requirements of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act to assist in preparation and maintenance of the Loan Application Register (LAR). Complete quarterly compliance training. Perform other duties as assigned. The above statements describe the general nature and level of work only. QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
High school diploma.
Skills/Abilities:
Analytical, detail oriented and accurate Excellent oral and written communication skills Well organized. Demonstrate ability to work well with other associates PC skills including basic Excel

Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.
Physical Strength:
Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. (Almost all office jobs.)

MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables.

Ability to perform basic math skills, use decimals to compute ratios and percentages.
Language Ability:
