Your Role The Loan Support Specialist I is responsible for insurance monitoring, daily statement processing, and timely and accurate processing of loan documentation—including preparing loan documents, funding and booking loans on the Bank's core system, and ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed. This position is also responsible for imaging and indexing all loan documents in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner, ensuring quality control during the process. This position partners with other loan services team members and Bank departments to provide high level support and assistance. Communicates with front-line staff; answers and directs incoming calls and emails in an accurate, professional, and courteous manner. Tracks and monitors insurance to ensure Bank's collateral is property insured. Ensures the security and confidentiality of private customer information. Images hard copy and electronic loan, financial, and customer documents and installs them accurately into the core system, ensuring a complete loan and credit file. Prints and mails monthly borrower statements and late notices. Ensures compliance with established Bank and regulatory guidelines and procedures. Completes loan processing documentation utilizing LaserPro on all types of Commercial Loans, including but not limited to Commercial C&I, Commercial Real Estate and AG loans. Processes, posts, and maintains files on construction loan draw requests per department policies and procedures and is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of draw packages prior to approvals and funding. Orders and reviews Construction Inspection reports to monitor the progress of the projects. Completes research and provides detailed supporting documentation to identify and resolve issues or exceptions that arise. Capable of boarding and funding loans on the Core system. Performs other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Understanding of loan associated General Ledgers. Basic knowledge of core systems and their various functions. Flexible with and accepting of change in production environment with willingness to learn new skills. Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and organized. Ability to multi-task and be flexible to changing priorities while possessing strong time management skills. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and iCore. Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively and clearly in a variety of settings, formats, and audiences; with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 0 to 5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to remain in a stationary position and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a multi-line telephone, copy machine, scanner, fax, and computer printer. Work Environment Climate controlled business office environment. Ability to work in artificial light for extended periods of time. The noise level is usually moderate.
