Job Description

Members' Advantage Credit Union, a strong secure financial institution, is seeking a Loan Clerk in the Wisconsin Rapids, WI area. Primary Job Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support to individuals within the Loan Department as necessary
  • Ensures that loans are processed accurately and properly documented, closed, disbursed, coordinated and filed or imaged.
  • Reviews the files of all loans recently disbursed by checking for necessary paper work, signatures, notices and proper computer data input such as interest rate, loan type, collateral type, payment amount, etc.
  • Maintains filing and tracking system of UCC-1, mortgage and title liens
  • Performs the filing, tracking and routing of credit and property insurance on loans
  • Prepares and sends loan denial notices to applicants and related loan file documentation
  • Processes paid-off loans and lien releases
  • Maintains accurate filing system and up-to-date loan records on the I/S system and purges loan files by destroying obsolete or unnecessary loan documentation
  • Transact business in accordance with state and federal regulations and credit union policies and culture.
