The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing hotel operations during the overnight shift, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the accuracy of financial records. This role combines front desk duties with accounting responsibilities, including balancing daily transactions, preparing reports, and handling late check-ins and early check-outs. The ideal candidate is professional, customer-service oriented, and comfortable working independently overnight. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries. Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions. Prepare and distribute end-of-day reports. Monitor property security and respond to guest needs overnight. Handle reservations, cancellations, and adjustments as needed. Ensure a smooth transition to the morning staff. Responsibilities Perform night audit procedures, including balancing daily transactions and preparing financial reports. Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries. Manage front desk operations, ensuring all guest requests are handled promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions using multi-line phone systems. Address guest concerns and resolve issues effectively to enhance guest relations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel or resort. Uphold high standards of hospitality by maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests. Requirements Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with night audit processes is advantageous. Proficiency in front desk operations and guest services. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse guests. Excellent phone etiquette and experience with multi-line phone systems are essential. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
