Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of front office accounting records, completing nightly audit procedures, and providing excellent guest service during overnight hours. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Perform nightly audit procedures, including posting charges and balancing accounts Verify and reconcile front office accounting records for accuracy Prepare and complete daily financial and audit reports Maintain security of cash, credit card transactions, and confidential guest information Accurately process cash and credit card transactions Balance computer system postings with departmental records and documentation Manage front desk operations during overnight shift Greet guests and handle check-in and check-out processes courteously Issue room keys following proper ID verification procedures Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs and requests Handle reservations and phone inquiries using proper etiquette Communicate important information to the next shift and management Follow all safety, security, and company policies and procedures Qualifications Previous hospitality or guest service experience preferred Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle problem-solving in a calm and efficient manner Basic math and accounting skills required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong time management and organizational skills Flexible schedule, including overnight shifts Team-oriented mindset Why Join Us Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow within the hospitality industry Valuable experience in both guest services and accounting operations
