Night Auditor

The Homewood Suites by Hilton, located in the Iowa River Landing, is currently seeking a part-time Night Auditor to join our dynamic team! The shift is part-time, overnight, 11pm-7am, two days a week. Shifts may include weekends and holidays. Must be available over the summer and partially during school breaks. Job Duties include basic accounting, math, computer skills. Other duties include but are not limited to: check guests in and out, reservations, and concierge services. Acts as manager on duty and follows the prescribed MOD procedures on communication, emergency procedures and guest satisfaction. Ensures that the night audit procedures are completed on a daily basis and the information entered and posted are accurate, balanced and timely. Enters information and prints night audit reports in an accurate and timely manner per night audit guidelines. -Records and communicates guest special requests and issues to appropriate department and ensures they are addressed in a timely and acceptable manner. Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; checking in and checking out guests. Must be familiar with local attractions and provides travel directions. Accurately checks out guests and communicates departures with housekeeping staff. Ensures that the night audit procedures are completed on a daily basis and the information entered and posted are accurate, balanced and timely. Ensures guest safety by following established security procedures including fire/tornado procedures, key security and guest privacy. Maintains the shift log accurately to ensure proper communication between shifts and managers is maintained. Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the hotel lobby and front desk area. Basic accounting, math and computer skills required.
