Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This position combines guest service with light accounting responsibilities and is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy problem-solving while providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit, balance, and report on all food and beverage outlets' cash and credit transactions (e.g., restaurants, lounges, banquets, room service). Review and balance the front desk transactions, including room charges, corrections, adjustments, taxes, deposits, and disputed charges. Audit and verify daily room revenue and occupancy reports to provide insight for hotel management. Input income journal sheets and prepare daily financial reports. Balance and close all bank ticket codes. Run the final night audit ensuring all revenues are balanced and recorded. Perform front desk operations such as guest check-ins/check-outs, answering calls, and assisting guests as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Prior experience in hospitality or basic accounting is preferred but not required.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with hotel PMS systems (preferred) Ability to handle cash, credit, and reconcile balances Excellent communication and guest service skills Comfortable working independently during overnight hours Why Join Us?
