In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving during the night shift, providing exceptional guest services and maintaining the integrity of our front desk operations. Your proactive approach will help uphold our commitment to hospitality excellence, creating a welcoming environment for all visitors while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hotel management and guest relations, all while working during the peaceful overnight hours. Duties Greet and assist guests arriving during the night shift with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive first impression. Check guests in and out using hotel management software, verifying reservations and processing payments accurately. Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services. Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, including room charges, adjustments, and incident reports. Conduct nightly audits of front desk activities, including balancing cash drawers and reconciling accounts to ensure financial accuracy. Monitor security cameras and perform routine safety checks throughout the property to ensure guest safety and property security. Prepare detailed shift reports outlining activities, incidents, and any maintenance or service issues requiring attention. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and problem resolution. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse guests. Familiarity with hotel management systems, multi-line phone systems, and front desk procedures is advantageous. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle guest inquiries professionally during overnight hours. Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of hospitality and security. Experience working in a resort or similar hospitality environment is a plus; a passion for hospitality management is essential.
