Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Shift/Night Auditor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations at our hotel. This energetic position involves overseeing the night's financial and administrative processes, delivering exceptional guest services, and maintaining the safety and security of the property. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for late-night guests, providing warm hospitality while managing essential front desk functions. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that encourages guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm. Provide outstanding guest services by addressing guest needs promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining a friendly demeanor at all times. Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting safety inspections, and controlling access to the hotel premises. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure seamless communication with daytime staff. Answer multi-line phone systems using proper phone etiquette and assist guests with reservations or information requests. Support hotel management with administrative tasks such as reconciling accounts, updating guest records, and ensuring compliance with hospitality standards. Experience Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles is highly preferred. Strong background in night audit procedures or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment. Multilingual or bilingual skills are a significant advantage for communicating effectively with diverse guests. Demonstrated customer service expertise with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence. Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and guest service software is desirable. Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality setting that requires attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills. Knowledge of hotel management principles combined with excellent communication skills to foster positive guest experiences. $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
