Job DescriptionThe Night Auditor is responsible for completing end-of-day financial reconciliation, verifying Hotel Clerk transactions, and ensuring accurate posting of room charges and applicable taxes. This position plays a critical role in maximizing occupancy by collaborating with Hosts to fill remaining vacant rooms and coordinating with Marketing and Player Development on special event reservations. The Night Auditor serves as a primary point of contact for guest inquiries and concerns during overnight hours.
Essential Responsibilities:
Audit and verify Hotel Clerk transactions to ensure compliance with established procedures and accuracy of all postingsPost room charges and applicable taxes for all occupied rooms and close the hotel day in the property management systemAnalyze hotel availability and collaborate with Hosts to optimize room occupancy through strategic room assignmentsAccess and utilize LMS, RMS, and CMS systems to make informed decisions regarding complimentary, discounted, and full-rate room assignmentsCommunicate with Executive Hosts regarding guest stays, special requests, and room status updatesPartner with Marketing, Player Development, and Food & Beverage departments to facilitate reservations for special events, gaming tournaments, parties, and food outlet servicesRespond to guest inquiries regarding hotel amenities, casino operations, and community information with professionalism and accuracyMaintain comprehensive knowledge of room rates, room types, availability, hotel policies, and operational proceduresPerform additional duties as assigned by management 
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency in basic accounting principles, including the ability to accurately perform addition, subtraction, and account auditing functionsProven experience handling monetary transactions with strict adherence to established financial procedures and controlsProficiency in operating property management systems, including LMS (Loyalty Management System), CMS (Content Management System), and RMS (Revenue Management System)Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and reconcile discrepancies in financial recordsKnowledge of credit card processing and electronic draft capture systemsAbility to obtain and maintain all certifications and licenses required by local gaming regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
