  • Safe and stable work Responsibilities Quality Assurance Auditor responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Input attributes and monitor quality
  • Communicate with Production pertaining to quality issues
  • Obtain daily samples
  • Encourage a safe work environment including wearing appropriate PPE
  • Provide coverage when needed
  • Willing and able to be cross trained in all areas of Quality Assurance duties
  • All other tasks as assigned by Quality Assurance Supervisor This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position. Additional Information Help for Additional Information. Opens a new window. Qualifications Qualified Candidates for the Night Shift Quality Auditor position should have the following skills:
  • Must be able to read and write in English
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. This is normally acquired through two to five years of manufacturing experience in a tannery or a previous Quality Assurance position
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
  • Availability to work all shifts, flexible hours, flexible days/evenings to include weekends and holidays
  • Conceptual/Analytical thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and self-starter; Eager and energetic
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Basic computer skills
  • Understanding of various quality aspects
  • Able to lift hides up to 100#
  • Willingness to work and be on-time when scheduled; Exemplary attendance record with previous employer Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
