In this multifaceted role, you will be the cornerstone of our guest experience by ensuring immaculate cleanliness, providing exceptional front desk service, and supporting overall property maintenance. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop versatile skills across hospitality operations while contributing to a positive and vibrant atmosphere. Responsibilities Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using effective cleaning techniques and floor care methods. Greet guests warmly at the front desk, handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their stay. Assist with luggage handling, room setup, and overall property upkeep as a dedicated houseman, ensuring all areas are well-maintained and inviting. Perform janitorial tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and detailed cleaning to uphold hygiene standards aligned with hospitality requirements. Conduct routine inspections of floors and surfaces for safety and cleanliness, utilizing industrial cleaning equipment when necessary. Support the front desk with administrative duties such as answering inquiries, managing reservations, and coordinating guest requests promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure all custodial and housekeeping responsibilities are completed efficiently while maintaining a positive work environment. Experience Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred to understand guest service expectations. Experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of cleaning procedures and floor care techniques. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and methods used in large-scale or commercial settings. Background in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus. Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in fast-paced environments. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
