We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused individual to join our team as a Night Auditor.
Position Overview:
The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing the day's financial transactions, preparing daily reports, and providing overnight guest services. This position combines accounting and front desk duties to ensure smooth hotel operations during nighttime hours. In this position you will also accommodate guests of hotel by performing sales and customer service functions related to guest registration, departures, and revenue collection, in a manner that will ensure our guests receive a secure place to stay with friendly, attentive service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO
Recognize and greet the guests upon entry into the lobby or on the telephone. Respond appropriately to information requests and complaints. Provide security for guests and the property by controlling room keys Perform tasks specific to the night auditor : Verifying all account postings and guest billing for the day, making adjustments as needed in order to balance daily transactions, running the actual night audit process on the property management system, and preparing night audit packets, balancing and transmitting credit card payments, and printing and organizing reports. certifying cash banks, making safe drops, preparing cash reports, following credit card guidelines, and reporting suspicious activity. Accurate daily inputting and coding of invoices that have been turned in for the day into the M3 system. Ensuring invoices are correctly coded to the right general ledger account and when uncertain, looking back at a previous invoice or waiting for management input. Correctly inputting invoices into vendor's account. Inputting and verifying daily data for both the hotel and restaurant into M3. Reviewing daily deposits for both the hotel and restaurant, and ensuring accuracy of bank deposits. Ensuring drop envelopes for the day reconcile for the cash that the reports show as being taken in. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Prior guest service or night audit experience in the hospitality industry preferred. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERINCE
COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS:
Individual must possess excellent interpersonal skills and good oral and written command of English. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to guests.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts is required. Must be accurate and detailed oriented.
