Hotel Night Auditor Namron Hospitality - 1.0 New York, NY Job Details Part-time $24 - $26 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Hospitality Operations management Multilingual Night audit Shift management Attention to detail Organizational skills Critical thinking Full Job Description The William Hotel is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Night Auditor to serve as our overnight Manager on Duty. This role is responsible for ensuring the property remains secure, guest-ready, and operationally prepared for the following day while providing exceptional overnight guest service. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, making decisions with confidence, and balancing guest service, security, and administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Overnight Guest Services & Check-Ins Manage all late-night arrivals and same-day reservations. Assist guests with check-in, access, room concerns, and overnight requests. Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, lockouts, complaints, and emergencies. Monitor arrival notes and ensure guests receive proper access instructions and guidance. Room Inspection & Preparation Inspect and prepare non-same-day turnover rooms for upcoming arrivals. Ensure vacant clean rooms are properly staged and guest-ready for the following day. Verify room cleanliness, functionality, presentation, and brand standards. Report maintenance concerns, damages, or housekeeping issues immediately. Fraud Prevention & Check-In Compliance Verify guest identification, payment methods, registration cards, and supporting documentation. Ensure all overnight check-in procedures are completed accurately and in compliance with hotel policies. Identify and report suspicious reservations, payment discrepancies, or potential fraud concerns. Help reduce chargebacks and unauthorized transactions through thorough verification procedures. Security & Property Monitoring Conduct hourly walkthroughs of guest floors, stairwells, entrances, public areas, and lower levels. Monitor for safety concerns, noise complaints, unauthorized visitors, property damage, or operational issues. Document walkthroughs and incidents through designated communication channels. Perform Salto lock audits to verify access permissions and ensure departed guests have been properly deactivated. Serve as the primary overnight contact for emergencies and security-related situations. Reservation Review & Audit Preparation Review upcoming reservations for: Missing guest information Cardholder and guest name mismatches Incomplete registration documentation Suspicious booking activity

arrivals and special requests Communicate concerns and important notes to the morning front desk team. Administrative & Front Desk Support Print and organize registration cards for upcoming arrivals. Prepare reports and documentation for the morning team. Maintain accurate reservation notes and operational records. Assist with audit-related tasks and overnight administrative responsibilities. Manager on Duty Responsibilities Serve as the acting Manager on Duty during overnight hours. Handle guest escalations, service recovery, emergencies, and operational disruptions independently and professionally. Coordinate with management, maintenance vendors, emergency services, or other resources when necessary. Demonstrate strong judgment, professionalism, and urgency in resolving issues. Qualifications Previous hotel front desk, night audit, hospitality, or guest service experience preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision. Comfortable handling guest concerns, emergencies, and overnight operations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel systems. Schedule Overnight shifts Weekends Part-time position Additional shifts may be available to cover vacations and operational needs Compensation $24.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience.
