Located in the heart of Columbus' Short North Arts District, Canopy Columbus Downtown is seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. Position Summary As a Night Auditor, you will serve as the overnight face of the hotel while ensuring all daily financial transactions are accurately balanced and completed. This role combines front desk guest service responsibilities with accounting and reporting duties to support the hotel's operations. Essential Responsibilities Provide exceptional guest service during overnight hours. Welcome, register, and assist guests with check-in and check-out. Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner. Complete nightly audit procedures and reconcile daily revenue and financial reports. Balance room, food and beverage, and other hotel transactions. Prepare and distribute daily operational reports. Maintain cash handling procedures and accurate records. Monitor hotel security and safety throughout the overnight shift. Answer phones, process reservations, and support guest inquiries. Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. Qualifications Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred. Night audit experience is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable working independently during overnight hours. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel operating systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Schedule Overnight shifts (typically 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Weekends and holidays required as business needs dictate
