Night Auditor

The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight hours. This position involves balancing financial transactions, providing exceptional guest service, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities Perform nightly audits of all financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting. Handle check-ins and check-outs for guests during the night shift. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized. Process payments and manage billing inquiries effectively. Utilize phone systems to communicate with guests and staff efficiently. Prepare reports for management regarding occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics. Assist with guest relations by providing information about local attractions, services, and amenities. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations throughout the hotel. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple calls professionally. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining a positive attitude. Knowledge of hotel or resort operations is advantageous.
