Hotel Night Auditor

Will be responsible for closing out the day's transactions; making sure that all the hotel accounts balance (ie: credit cards, daily postings etc...) before performing the Day-End Close Out. Manager on Duty after 11:00pm and is responsible for handling any situations that may arise needing an MOD.

Essential Functions:

Checking guest in/out Handling guest service issues/disturbances with security's assistance Strong computer and accounting skills Performing End of Day procedures Filing and sorting of all daily paperwork Effective communication skills Good telephone skills Creating the Snow Condition Reports and posting them to designated websites, update the daily snow report voicemail box during ski season Responsible for keeping the Hotel Operations Manager/Front Desk Manager updated daily regarding any situations requiring an MOD during the night And assisting with other duties as needed

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Education, knowledge, training, & work experience. Accounting, Hospitality courses or equivalent job experience is preferred. Excellent communication, organizational skills, computer/systems knowledge and time management skills required. Attention to detail and follow through is essential. Excellent customer service skills a must
