Front Desk Reports to: Front Desk Manager The Hotel Night Auditor is responsible for posting room charges and taxes to guest accounts and verifying all account postings and balances made during the day.

Key Responsibilities:

Smile! Focus on safety for yourself and others. Monitors the current status of coupons, discounts, and other promotional programs. Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics. Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities. Summarizes results of operations for management. Answer incoming calls and assist with reservations, confirmations, room need requests, and questions. Explain resort products, service, and other information about the resort as requested. Provide guests with appropriate room assignments, wrist bands, directions to the rooms, while up selling when appropriate. Verify payment for stay including incidental costs by obtaining credit information. Assist guests with issues and complaints, with empathy and a focus on guest satisfaction. Accurate accounting of cash bank assigned to each agent. Facilitate guest departures by providing accurate statements and ensuring guest satisfaction and collecting all payments due. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years or older. Must be able to pay close attention to detail and accurately perform complex calculations and reconciliations. Proficiency in computer programs. Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to interact with guests, management, and other staff members. Ability to answer guest inquiries throughout the shift. Ability to stand, walk, and remain at workstation for extended periods. Ability to lift or carry up to 25 lbs. occasionally. Proficiency with computers and ability to learn property management systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or stressful situations. Flexible schedule availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests. Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment. Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus. Must have reliable transportation.
