Responsible for providing overnight guest services while performing end-of-day accounting and financial reconciliation procedures. Ensures accurate guest billing, balances daily transactions, prepares financial reports, and maintains a safe and welcoming environment during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests and process check-ins and check-outs during overnight shifts. Handle reservations, room assignments, and guest inquiries. Balance daily revenue, cash receipts, credit card transactions, and guest accounts. Perform nightly audit procedures and generate end-of-day reports. Verify and correct billing discrepancies. Prepare reports for management and accounting staff. Answer phone calls and respond to guest requests promptly and professionally. Maintain security awareness and monitor hotel activity during overnight hours. Ensure front desk operations run smoothly and accurately.
Skills & Qualifications:
Customer service and communication skills. Basic accounting, bookkeeping, or cash-handling experience. Attention to detail and accuracy. Computer proficiency and experience with hotel management software. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Flexible to work overnight, weekends, and holidays.
