Hotel Night Auditor

Hotel Night Auditor Location:

Houston, Tx 77090

Pay Rate:

$16/hr. What You'll Do As the Night Auditor, you will pull double duty as both our overnight front desk host and the financial closer for the day's operations.

Your main responsibilities include:

Guest Services:

Welcome late arrivals, process check-ins and check-outs, and handle any overnight guest inquiries or complaints with care.

Financial Auditing:

Run nightly audit reports, balance accounts, post charges (rooms, food, amenities), and reconcile daily financial transactions.

Operations & Safety:

Monitor property security and ensure guest safety during the overnight hours.

Facility Support:

Perform light housekeeping, organize the lobby area, or handle basic maintenance tasks as needed to support the property before the morning shift arrives.

Morning Prep:

Prepare for basic food service, such as setting up the early coffee/tea supplies or helping set up the breakfast station. What You Bring (Requirements)

Experience:

Prior customer service experience is required; hotel front desk or night audit experience is highly preferred.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and absolute comfort working with numbers and financial reporting.

Tech Savvy:

Familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS). Familiarity with StayNTouch is a major bonus.

Mindset:

Ability to work independently, remain highly alert during overnight hours, and maintain a calm, guest-first attitude during challenging situations.

Communication:

Excellent verbal problem-solving and communication skills.
