Job Description
Wingate by Wyndham is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Night Auditor to oversee overnight hotel operations. This position combines front desk guest service responsibilities with daily accounting and audit functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and exceptional guest experiences. Night Auditors serve as the primary hotel representative during overnight hours and play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence. Essential Responsibilities Welcome guests and perform check-in and check-out procedures. Process reservations, room assignments, and guest requests. Complete nightly audit procedures and reconcile daily financial transactions. Balance cash drawers, credit card transactions, and guest folios. Prepare and distribute daily revenue and occupancy reports. Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries professionally. Resolve guest concerns in a friendly manner and escalate issues when necessary. Monitor hotel security and conduct periodic property walkthroughs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas. Ensure all end-of-day procedures are completed accurately. Qualifications Previous hotel front desk or hospitality experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic cash-handling, and computer skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Ability to respond quickly to guest and property needs during overnight hours.
